07/06   The management of the U-Haul located at 2015 Routet22 east reported the Theft of a box trailer from the property during the overnight hours. The trailer is valued at $10,000 and is listed as a stolen item.

  A resident in the 1800 block of Lamberts Mill Road reported a Fraud. Someone made unauthorized transactions on the victim’s debit card and the incident is under investigation.

  Adrian X. Farfan, age 24, of Plainfield, N.J. was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. D. Belford. Farfan was then transported to headquarters and processed.

  A resident in the 1600 block of King Street reported a Theft. The resident saw a black male in his late teens steal his son’s 2015 Black Raleigh Mountain Bike valued at $400.00. Officers responded to the area and were unable to locate the suspect.

  Jason B. Barthe, age 29, of South Plainfield, N.J. was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence during a motor vehicle accident investigation conducted by Off. Ostrowski. Barthe was then transported to headquarters and processed as no injuries were reported.

  Lawrence A. Warren, age, 26 of East Orange, N.J. was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Leyden. Warren was then transported to headquarters and processed.

07/09   Jessica Cargua, age 23 of Elizabeth, N.J. was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of Scotch Plains by Off. Tripet. Cargua was then transported to headquarters and processed.

07/09   Gina R. Amaya-Monge, age 27 of Union, N.J. was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also arrested was Daniela M. Monge, age 23 of Vauxhall, N.J. who was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of Irvington, NJ. Both arrests were the result of a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Gitto, and both parties were transported to headquarters and processed.

07/10   Whitney L. Tylicki, age 31 of Sayreville NJ was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of Scotch Plains by Off. DiLollo. Tylicki was then transported to headquarters and processed and transferred to the Union County Jail.

07/11   Lenice K. Bowers age 21 of Cleveland Heights Ohio was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension during a suspicious person call in the Country Club Apartments by Off. Florio. Bowers was then transported to headquarters and processed.

07/11   A Fanwood resident reported that Theft of their son’s Kent LaJolla bicycle valued at $100.00. The theft occurred from in front of 1740 East Second Street at approximately 6 pm.

07/12   Amir D. Bryant, age 18 of Linden, NJ was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana. Also arrested was Qualiyah C. Medy, age 19 of Linden, NJ also charged with Ppossession of Marijuana. The arrests were the result of a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Smolinski. Both individuals were transported to headquarters and processed.

07/14   Efraim W. Diaz, age 27 of Jersey City, N.J. was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Hindering Apprehension as well as Outstanding Warrants out of Hudson County and Jersey City during a suspicious person investigation conducted by Off. D. Belford. Diaz was transported to headquarters and processed.

07/25   The manager at the Scotch Plains Exxon, located at 1800 Route 22, reported a Fraud. Two black males in a blue vehicle attempted to pay for gas with a counterfeit $100.00 bill. When the attendant questioned the men about the money the two fled onto Route 22 eastbound. The incident is under investigation.

07/25   Shaleke A. Fisher, age 40 of Piscataway, NJ was arrested on an Active Warrant out of the Union County Sheriff’s Department during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Tripet. Fisher was then transported to headquarters and processed.

07/27   Dante Purdue, age 26 of Scotch Plains, NJ was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department during an investigation conducted by Lt. Sellinger and Off. VonLangen. Purdue was then transported to headquarters and processed.

07/28   A Somerville resident reported the Theft of their iPhone 8 from Pantagis Renaissance located on Park Avenue. The victim was working an event at that location when the theft occurred.

07/30   A resident on Mountain Avenue reported a Fraud. Someone made unauthorized charges on the victim’s credit card.

  Annakecia R. Scott, age 30 of Jersey City, N.J. was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Smolinski. Scott was transported to headquarters and processed.

  A resident in the 500 block of Victor Street reported a Theft. The resident stated someone opened a package that was delivered to them and removed some items.
