11/02   A 2017 Mercedes S550 was stolen from a residence on Frances Lane at approximately 1 pm. The vehicle was entered stolen, and a description broadcast to the surrounding towns. The vehicle was tracked and located at the Jersey Garden Mall in Elizabeth, NJ at approximately 5 pm. Elizabeth Police Department recovered the unoccupied vehicle.

11/02   The management at the Refuel Gas station located at 1500 Front Street reported the Theft of gas. A customer filled their vehicle up and left without paying. The incident is currently under investigation.

  A resident on Ravenswood Lane reported a Fraud. Someone gained access to the victim’s bank information and made a bank transfer without the victim’s authorization. The incident is currently under investigation.

  The management at the Uptown Vintage Furniture store located at 1833 Front Street reported the Theft of a sign from the front of the store which was valued at $850. The incident is currently under investigation.

  A resident of North Plainfield reported their vehicle Burglarized at the YMCA located at 1340 Martine Avenue. The victim stated her purse was removed from the vehicle and several credit cards were used at various locations. The incident is currently under investigation.

  A resident of Paramus, NJ reported the Theft of her cell phone from a locker in the Robert Wood Johnson health center, located at 2120 Lamberts Mill Road. The incident is currently under investigation.

  A resident on Roberts Lane reported a Fraud. The victim stated that two individuals attempted to secure bank loans and put the victim’s name down as a co-signer without their knowledge. The incident is currently under investigation.

  Off. Mirabile responded to the 100 block of Washington Avenue on a report of a Structure Fire. Upon his arrival, he encountered a heavy smoke condition in the rear of the home and saw flames under the roof of a small entrance way. Off. Mirabile confirmed all occupants were safely out of the home. The Scotch Plains Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. Union County EMS, Union County HazMat, and the Fanwood Fire Department also responded. No injuries were reported.

  Gina Senatus, age 40 of Roselle, NJ was arrested for Driving Under the Influence during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Leyden. Off. Leyden transported Senatus to headquarters for processing.

11/13   Deborah Nazaire, age 25 of Hillside, NJ was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of Scotch Plains by Off. Vonlangen. Nazaire was processed at headquarters and released.

11/13   Jacqueline N. Hubbard, age 30 of North Plainfield, NJ was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of Scotch Plains by Off. Fricks. Hubbard was processed at headquarters and released.

11/14   The management at the Sunoco gas station located at 1746 Route 22 East reported a Theft of Services. A customer fled without paying for $20.00 worth of gas.

11/15   Shaun P. Williams, age 18 of Rahway, NJ was arrested for Possession of Marijuana during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Florio. Williams was transported to headquarters and processed.

11/18   A South Plainfield resident reported a Vehicle Burglary at the YMCA located at 1340 Martine Avenue. The victim stated her vehicle window was broken and a purse was taken from her vehicle. The incident is currently under investigation.

11/19   Jahlil Gordon, age 26 of Plainfield, NJ was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of Plainfield, NJ during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Luciano. Gordon was transported to headquarters and processed.

11/29   Aaron M. Scott, age 25 of Middlesex, NJ was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of South Plainfield, NJ during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Rites. Off. Rites transported Scott to headquarters for processing.

  A resident of Westfield reported the Theft of a wallet from their vehicle which was parked at the YMCA, located at 1340 Martine Avenue. The incident is currently under investigation.

  Eylon A. Bascom, age 25 of East Orange, NJ was arrested for Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs and Possession of Marijuana during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Gitto. Bascom was also found to have an active warrant out of Newark, NJ. Off. Gitto transported Bascom to headquarters for processing.

  Stephanie S. Guzman, age 27 of Newark, NJ was arrested on Outstanding Warrants out of Scotch Plains and Newark, NJ by Off. Rivera. Guzman was processed at headquarters.
